Progression of Software the Political way

There was a time when people got together, built a village, created rules and lived by it. Then rules were  standardized, applied to villages under a common influence. The common rules made moving easier. Slowly, enforcing rules by one entity became costly, created conflicts. Democracy was then introduced, where rules were agreed upon. Then came the time and will continue to come, when conducting elections becomes costly and the practiced rules will become natural laws.

There was a time when companies built their own hardware and built software for it. Then standardization came and software became independent. Slowly the concept of virtualization sets in and without one, running software became costly. The virtualization evolved into Server-less computing. And then the  time of Artificial Intelligence has come when building software has become costly and the information will be left to you to decipher into knowledge, it will be done by AI systems naturally.
